Waves4power in Indonesia for pilot installation meetings

Waves4Power CEO Jonas Kamf is in Jakarta, Indonesia for meetings with PLN Indonesia Power and local partners regarding a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop WaveEL™ wave power parks in Indonesia.

The MOU was reached in December during Sweden-Indonesia Sustainability Partnership Week (SISP), a platform to establish collaborations between Sweden and Indonesia to achieve the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development Goals.

Initial plans include a 3 MW wave power pilot installation designed to demonstrate that the wave climate on site is feasible, followed by a 23 MW commercial WaveEL installation. The goal is to install at least 150 MW of WaveEL wave power in Indonesia in the next five years.
